3 tips and tricks with the Pantech Matrix

The Matrix is a great phone and I think that showing some shortcuts could make better use with the phone. please excuse the crappy video

There are three shortcuts:

1. When in camera mode, if you press and hold down the camera button on the side of the phone for about a 1.5 seconds it will automatically switch you to video mode.

2. When texting using the QWERTY keyboard and you want to put in the number of the person you are trying to send the message to in the send to bar, it will put in letters instead of numbers. the trick is to press the function button (FN, bottom left corner) twice and it will allow you to put in the number you are trying to send your message to.

3. The Matrix has a phone book search when it comes to dialing in numbers of people you are trying to call. THIS ONLY WORKS WITH NUMBERS ALREADY IN YOUR PHONE BOOK! If you dial in any part of the number that you remember, the phone will search for numbers in your phone book that best fit the numbers you have dialed in.

@austinmegasmash go to profiles (menu/settings/profiles) then go to ring or ring and vibrate click customize then itll say ring sound then go down and message sound its for texts but its how i found it.

pantech phones are the only phones i use...i have a matrix (green)it does have its issues like every other phone. the buttons are very small to text on but u will get used to the whole idea. it is also very small, when i am at school and my phone is in my pocket i think i lost it because i cant feel it and every now and then it will slip out of my pocket.....i love the fone!!those are pretty much the only issues...all the other issues are very small and i just got used to it. it works great!
