On April 6th 2009 the Michigan Medical Marihuana Program began accepting applications from qualified patients with the proper physician documentation. If approved, applicants will receive their card within 15 days.
So yes the tide is turning but we have to act to make this happen now! 38 states wil lstill throw a sick or dieing citizen into jail and not think twice about it, it has to end! We have to help our brothers in the non-medical staes, we have to put the pressure on or we will be doing this same fighting in 20 years!
Emails Letters phone calls, we have to let them know we are out here and we are the majority. 60% want an end to prohibition and even more, 78% think sick and dieing citizens should be able to use whatever medicine a doctor chooses.
Nothing will change nationaly unless we all write daily to our senators and congressmen! Also to Mr. funny pants Obama, well he did make a joke about online users being high! Any local representitive and state senate and congressmen and govenors need to be written too.
If only this would turn into a natonal law, then all of us suffering could celabrate!
Its really sad that Im leaveing Kentucky and my family to seek out Medical Marijuana, California is the state I have choosen, with the despenseries there I will have the best chance in securing medicine that works!
It was a Great Day! Everyone showed their true compassion for each other, and the atmosphere was that of old friends reuniting. We made history, and it's just going to get better. "One voice can be lost in the wind, a multitude of voices become a roar that cannot be ignored."
A Great Day among Wonderful People, indeed it was ... Thanks to all (and nicely filmed, as always!) - rdw
