Documentary about the Battle of Khe Sanh, the most important moment of the war in Vietnam. Featuring speeches of President Johnson, Chief Justice Earl Warren, Defense Secretary Robert McNamara and State Secretary Dean Rusk.
@Oceancolour5 You clearly have no idea what America wanted to do in Khe Sanh. The whole point of the siege was to inflict massive casualties on the Viet Cong. That was done... we caused something like 10,000 casualties, while receiving something like 1500. I don't claim to say Khe Sanh was worth it... we lost a lot of men and didn't gain much, but "General Vo Nguyen Giap" has it in his best interest to say that America failed at Khe Sanh. We did not.
General Vo Nguyen Giap said after the war that the battle of Khe sanh was a VC trap to bring all US air and land powers there so the VC main force could secretly surrounded Sound Vietnam and took victory. Giap said Khe Sanh was a deserted land, no one lived there and has nothing to gain even if you win that battle.
