MegaMan Zero 4: Tech Kraken [Ultimate Mode] (Part 12)

Stage: Deep Sea
Weather: Snowy

The stage seems shorter than it really is.

The easier weather doesn't seem to have an effect on the stage. You just won't have jammed communications with Ceil. However, it does remove the ice covering the floors and walls in the boss room.


[Tech Kraken]

Kind of odd having 2 different layers of ice in the room. Probably to make the trajectory of his projectiles a bit more complex.


[Chained Beams]:
Kraken fires 2 teal colored beams that reflect off any surface it touches.

[Ink Phase]:
Kraken will hide himself in the ink. He'll pop up several times to attack you with his tentacles which have razor ice attached to them.

[Ice Barrier]:
Kraken forms a ball of ice that will travel horizontally from him and form a spiked ice block. The Chained Beams can reflect off this ice barrier.

[Ice Fangs]:
Kraken will pull his 4 fangs off and spread them out towards the bottom corner opposite to him. They travel along the icy surfaces, similar to the Ground Hunter.

[DESPERATION: Ice Javelin]:
Kraken will push 2 ice javelins and 2 ice balls towards the floor. The ice javelins will plant themselves against the icy walls before reaching the floor and the ice balls will stop once they've reach the lowest point. The ice balls will always travel at the same altitude and are capable of turning you into an ice block. Also, each ice ball will spawn and launch one ice javelin at the opposite wall.

An easy way to dodge the mid-boss' ice shard attack is to be under him, that way, he won't be able to freeze you, nor stab you with ice shards

at 2:57 if you keep going up you get to see a secret area to get there you need 2X jump to go trough there you can actualy see a Yadokroid...I CANT GET THERE do someone has a vid about wuts up in there???
