@ussrwrestling no elbows to the back of the head to stop takedown,no kicking a person on the ground,no groin strikes,no eye strikes all favor grapplers,early ufc rules were pretty fair,modern rules favor grapplers.

The same is true about the introduction of gloves in MMA! The introduction of gloves actually promoted more striking (and not some kind of "safety" for the fighters!)/

@CtrlAltDltYou It should be the same rules they had in Pride, no elbows ( too many cuts ) , stomps and soccer kicks allowed, the UFC rules favor the wrestlers a lot.
