For the 2009 Teen Summer Reading program at the Orem Library, teens were asked to come up with a public service announcement that addressed an issue that they felt was important to them and their environment. Their choice was to do a video that encouraged viewers to refill their empty water bottles instead of throwing them away. Considering that Americans toss roughly 2.5 million bottles each HOUR, the kids felt that this was a good topic to discuss.
Here's their take on the issue, mixed in with a bit of fun. Be sure to comment and let them know what you think! Enjoy!
Thanks! We had a good time putting it together. The kids were great to work with, and they are a very creative bunch.
