During his campaign, Barack Obama surrounded himself with progressive leaders who believed that we could prevent another economic crisis by enforcing tougher regulations for Wall Street. However, once he took office, he sent those progressives packing, and filled his cabinet with former Wall Street insiders who want to keep the system operating out of the scope of the government. This isnt the "change" that we were expecting, and this is one of the reasons that the president is now facing an uphill battle to win back the votes of his base. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. talks about the presidents sell out with Matt Taibbi, political correspondent for Rolling Stone magazine.

Sadly, it is obvious that selective enforcement of our laws has laid us on the door of 3rd world status. Wall Street first, last and always is the mantra of both parties. Hence, FedGov.Inc (please note domain suffix) has total control with no fear of investigation for their global financial crime wave. Face it, Nader, Badnarik, McKinney had it right corruption levels are now fatal and the Republic is in mortal peril via a corporate take over.

These comments run from the delusional ( deadlygnome) to the simply unrealistic. The executive, Obama, will not get any radical legislation through both houses of the legislature. The Senate will kill, in infancy, any ambitious agendas. Get used to incrementalism.
