I think someone like her would not notice time pausing, so no she wasn't faking. I think Hiro just resumed time again by accident or something.

I really didn't understand her power. After this scene her power seems to negate Hiro's timewarping, yet in this first appearance she seems to be frozen like everyone else. Was she faking it or something?
