A short animated cartoon presented by a new superhero, Aspie Guy, showing how a teen or child with Asperger's Syndrome might ask for space from a friend or peer without making a big deal of it or their Asperger's. This is inspired by a suggestion of Tony Attwood where, instead of unloading information about their diagnosis, a young person might simply say "I'm the type of person that..." In this instance, they might say "I'm the type of person that sometime needs to be alone for a few minutes." The aim is to help improve social skills.

That's nice but it wouldn't work here in Argentina were people are more group oriented and they would start asking why you need to go outside on your own, like you're rejecting them or something.. I find that what works is going to the bathroom or finding an excuse to go buy a soda or something like that, or stooping to pet a dog or cat, or stepping out into the garden. Even if they follow you, you can pretend you're contemplating the plants. That's what I do.

Haha, funny voices and animation.
But yes, it's very true that persons with Asperger's need space to contemplate what to do next or to clear the mind.
