ROFL @ Thousands of players. I have been playing the US server for over 2 weeks and I can tell you theres about 50 - 100 active people in the server.

Amazing game and awesome graphics!
Played EVE for years and yes EVE has far more to do or at least way more options to keep you sitting there getting bored, but if you want action and actually be the pilot and truly part of a Wing (Team) then this is the way to go. The GUI for BP is similar to EVE so it will take little to adjust and although I'm using a mix of Joystick and keyboard it's perfectly playable with the mouse, if not easier.

@FrostCommentarys Depends. If you enjoy piloting a Fighter, it's good. If you want big ships, and also more freedom, EVE is the way to go.
