@ScReaMMMz Yeah, they could choose Gretsch-great drums, too. But I will say this; I owned a Gretsch kit, prior to Yamaha. Gretsch gave me a one-off artist pricing deal...but my Yamaha's kick their ass.

@cc322 Thanks-it is the metal shell snare that came with the kit. I love it-very versatile, sounds GREAT in the studio.

@cc322 I will be honest with you, I dont know. I just got it given to me when I picked up the kit at Yamaha. I also have a wooden shell Rock Tour snare.
