@mchlharper I remember when they co-anchored the news together on WPIX. They were awesome, growing up in NYC, it was my favorite news to watch. Your Mom was a class act, she is missed.

@mchlharper I always watched the Yankees on WPIX, and I always stay tuned in for the news after the game. Pat and Joe were excellent newscasters. I am sorry to hear your mother passed away. You should be very proud of her.

@thedavisgroup - I know of only one example of Joe Harper's work on YT - from 'MSTS1', an audio-only clip from a weekend edition of Boston station WBZ Channel 4's "Eyewitness News" he'd anchored in 1970:

@Lockemeister - She was certainly better than much of the women anchors in NYC today (I'm thinking of the current occupant of the "PIX 11" anchor desk, Jodi Applegate, who like most "news chicks" these days seems to come across as skanky by comparison).

@mchlharper You are correct, Pat Harper was the best damn anchor in New York. A professional journalist all television newspersons should aspire too. You have every right to be proud. It's a shame she died so young.
