Creative Kids International Africa 2010.m4v

A short film about our work in Zambia and Kenya in 2010. In Zambia CKI worked with Barefeet Theatre and UNICEF on the Annual Youth Arts Festival, this year's theme was Climate Change. CKI spent 3 months working with 5 children's centres and Ngombe Open Community School in Lusaka, building large scale carnival structures and costumes from recycled materials. Children's costumes were based on 5 themes: Nature, Air, Water, Rubbish and Animafwafwa! CKI co-ordinated a fashion show and carnival day with partners Barefeet Theatre.

CKI then visited several projects in Kenya to make links for future projects.
