is it true that Sadowsky NYC Basses now have Graphite Rods in the neck?

saying someone shouldn't play with a pick is like saying someone shouldn't slap, tap, or palm mute. its a different way to play the bass. if it sounds good and works for the song, i say do it!

Does everyone know that fender invented the first electric bass and that everything else is a copy? Yes people have been trying to claim that they have improved on perfection or are they just trying to jump on the band wagon.

Leo is dead.
They can copy the designs because the body design isn't copyrighted (Although the head stock is)
So different headstock, same body, arguably better quality control, but they are seriously awesome basses regardless

Well, it's hard for me to play without a pick anyways.
-
@vzsozs yeah I agree, sounds pretty sweet though
-
@mrciaran96 youre right, thanks for the update, but i guess you know what i mean... you know about copying stuff
-
@vzsozs dude, this bass is based on the precision bass, not the jazz bass
-
@spedracer4U totally agree with you

@vzsozs I think that Sadowsky does this because they feel that many pros want the classic look, but with a better sound. but I have no idea why Fender allows their design to be copied over and over. Maybe Leo takes it as a compliment.
Playing with a pick doesn't "diminish what you can do with a bass" Its just a tool that delivers a different attack and sound. Your opinion is just as close minded as those who think picks are superior, when the reality is neither of them is superior nor inferior.
IMO, unless the person playing in this video has mad cash, a squire would be more logical for a beginner such as the video suggests.
The ultra vintage series from Sadowsky includes Brazilian Rosewood, very unlikely an Ebony board.
