Here is the song "Bengara-Koushi" from Rock Musical Bleach: Dark of the Bleeding Moon subbed!

The translation is by inarikami ( http://inarikami.livejournal.com/ ) who we all owe a huge thank you!!

This song has a bit of a cultural reference to it so I'm going to take what Inarikami said in her journal: "Bengara-koushi is a type of lattice-work, a sliding door/corridor divider of sorts, typical to Kyoto houses.

What does this got to do with the song, you ask? :) Well, since with bengara-koushi, you can see through the lattice and yet not see clearly at the same time, the song connects this imagery with the heart of the person you love - you can catch a glimpse but still you're not seeing it clearly. Bengara-koushi is often called "miesou de mienai bengara-koushi" = "see - not see bengara-koushi", and the song repeats these exact lines. Also, that's why they're making the sliding motions with their hands. :) "

I subbed this in windows movie maker, so there aren't any cool text effects or anything and I'm unable to get the text to go down any further b/c WMM kinda sucks, but hey at least you can understand what they're singing now.

  • This song sounds so romantic...it's so sweet! HitsuHina and GinRan are good couples.

Everyone's laughing over Hitsugaya's entrance...it was funny, but what happened after attracted my attention more. 1:47 to 1:55 he was staring at Hinamori with that...gentle, caring look! It melted my heart...and has anyone else noticed that whenever Hitsugaya's singing, he's almost always looking at Hinamori? With that...tender, positively loving look! My inner HitsuHina fangirl is going crazy over this...

  • the trap door thing is hilarious!

  • Oooooh! It's the coveted Hitsugaya in box!

  • A song for unlucky childhood friends! Well, literally for Rangiku and Gin and if Hitsugaya actually has romantic feelings toward Hinamori (but Kubo's Character Book says otherwise, so... Sayonara, my first OTP!).

Though I like how @2:27, Hitsugaya says "Please notice this heart of mine" and turns to look at Hinamori over his shoulder and how Hinamori meets his glance with a "Don't look at me with eyes like that" before dropping her gaze and ultimately dismissing him. SHIP TEASE DONE RIGHT :)

  • WTF

  • Lol hitsugaya and the door XD also gin I love you!!!

  • @momokuma221 and @SillyWQ She is singing about Aizen, but it's less romantic and more idolizing. The reason the song is still HitsuHina is because Aizen's fake kindness blinded Momo, and Hitsugaya's practically begging her to open her eyes and look at him instead of Aizen. It's actually rather sad: Momo's lost and Hitsugaya's trying to pull her back.

  • i remember how much i laughed when the first time i saw this and saw toshiro coming out from the trapdoor and getting stuck.

though i wish toshiro and momo would sing a duet song together.

  • rangiku is the best female singer in my opinion and toshiro is the best male

  • What does Gin's gesture in 1:15 (putting little finger between teeth) actually mean?

  • this song is sort of heart breaking for Hitsugaya if you think about it because he's asking for Himamori to look at him but she's to busy watching Aizen

  • @SillyWQ actually...., this is more like a romantic song, and if she is singing about aizen, he would be included in this song, not hitsugaya.
