OBVIOUSLY not ! You are twisting the facts or ignoring them till what is left gives you the desired result. Your position is completely debunked if you take ALL facts into account. Todays wiccans are the descendants of the wise women of the dark ages, since they live in the same tradition. Wicca didnt suddenly crop up out of nowhere. They are the rightfull heirs of the medieval whitches and celtic druids.

It was established in the year 1184 by a PAPAL(as in pope) bull entitled Ad abolendam by POPE Lucius III .
