  • nice...Can u plz post the meaning of this kalinga narthanam song..??plzz..

  • nice dance

  • beautiful dance ty for posting

  • It started with a flashy narrative focusing on story telling rather than keeping true to natyam angles and postures. The softness of the elbows and knees, especially the wrists were more indicative of Kathak or Oddisi. In bharathanatyam, the core of the body must be firmly perpendicular to the ground. The artist lacks conditioning. By the end, the lines of the choreography had degenerated to steps of "filmy" dance due to fatigue. Some cross training in ballet would greatly improve strength.

  • very nice video:)

  • @shiva4ever I think you might be a little too harsh with your criticism. Kalakshetra styles has its strengths and weaknesses. I have seen the Dhananjayans perform, and they are phenomenal. Just remember, it depends not only on the style, but how the dancer executes the dance in the first place.

  • dude it is simply great man ur my spirit pavi tc keep it up

  • he lacks the grace of manly dancing...

  • How well you take criticism! You seem like a perfect spokesman for kalakshetra. As for my going there, I think I have seen more than enough of what goes on there to go and spend more time on them. However, you are more than welcome to remain in that hell of mediocrity.

  • Go there and study or take a couple of years of classes with someone from there and then maybe you might have an appreciation for what's involved.
