With proposals being thrown out left and right, the Save Libertyland group thought it was only fair to introduce our idea for the Memphis Fairgrounds. Since Libertyland closed several years ago, it has been looted and ingored by the many Mid-South citizens. Fortunately Misty White of the Save Libertyland group is refusing to give up the dream of a beautiful, green park for the people of Memphis and its visitors.
This video is just a rough draft of her plans for the area's future. Thanks to Chris Owen and Misty White for your contributions to the plans, as well as Tom Foster, who edited them.
The garden diagrams were copied from Carrots Love Tomatoes by Louise Riotte.
@dzredhead911 Or you could just homeschool like I am. Now they delayed the schools.

Oh, yeah.....they already have.......they have Memphis City Schools so screwed up, they are just gonna hand them over to Shelby County Schools to "fix".......talk about "passing" the buck! Sure glad I have NO kids to be educated in Shelby County/Memphis TN!!!

Too late! Liberyland is gone for good!! No more Zippin' Pippin'!!! Memphis does some of the MOST STUPID things. Example:: Built a Pyramid on top of a sand bar, which is sinking.......and now with the FedEx Forum built, the Pyramid sits abandoned and empty!! A beautiful piece of property is a WASTE of MILLIONS of dollars of taxpayer money..........But it's OK, city government will soon do something even MORE stupid, so this will get shoved to the back burner......

This video is sooo cool! Misti designed that mockup with help from friends, artists, & like-minded folks. Her vision for all that the Park can be is a testament to her caring & creativity. This is a grassroots movement that should be joined by everyone who cares about the mid-town community in Memphis, not to mention the farther reaches to people who can't afford high-end theme parks.
