A very nice on board clip of live steam engine working hard with a heavy train on steep gradients, ending in a crash. The RAIB investigation found that disgruntled staff at Station Duplo had tampered with the points after the driver had insisted on running a straight through service to take advange of the nice down hill grade. The pair of miscreants were sacked ftom the Cogges Railway (for today anyway)... keep sound up.

  • Subbed. A very brave man indeed. Check out the Kent & North Wales Light Railway for evidence of not so deliberate collisions, fires ....

  • when they fall from large heights do they explode jw

  • nice video and how much is that locomotive

  • I have a question how was the freight cars still moving when the loco crashed?

  • Nice, Now who is going to take the blame for not switching the track.

  • Win. I love the way the cars keep on going while the engine decided to smite the diesel :P
