Not going to scroll to see who doesn't like Death. Seriously, no way to compare them. To begin with Chuck is and will always be the God of Death Metal wherever he is. Lyrics (written by Chuck) are more than enough to crush Metallica's. Also the Music (Chuck again) is more than just metal, it is true fucking power and if any of the dickwads coming here who claim that Metallica is more than Death, you really need to get out of fcking MTV and learn more about metal.

Today, is the 10 th anniversary of Chucks passing. Such a shame that such a legend died so young. His talent shall truly be missed, and we all hope that he's shredding out some awesome music somewhere else.
If only he was still alive, imagine what he could of released, it's mesmerizing to think about, because it's obvious he would of gotten even better, as he did with each and every album.
I've only been listening to Death for 4months, But it's all I freaking listen to now.
