I can't think of much worse than compounding the misery of a grieving parent. The WBC nutbars are absolute scum. Casting homophobic epithets at the kid's funeral is beyond the pale. If there WAS a God, he would surely strike them dead.

These people are sick. With all the time the members have to all of this, I wonder if they are on welfare, disability, etc. If so, they should either stop or lose their income.

I love the question (re-quote) about weather they would protest their own funerals.

I don't know how they can get away with the freedom of speech argument.... there is a notation regarding that law and inciting violence, etc.

I heard somewhere (can't remember where) that one of the leaders used to be a human rights lawyer, so everytime they get sued they know how to get out of it from the "freedom of speech" formality, then they sue the people who tried to sue them for denying them the right to freedom of speech and then win. That is why they have so much money, but if we refuse to accept it and don't give up then maybe we can influence enough people to see the hate they are spreading.

People like you are what is good in the world. People who question the delusional people like the WBC instead of accepting their behaviour and terrible actions. When severe ignorance is combined with a large amount of easily influenced people it is very dangerous and the result is psycho's like the WBC. I bet they would think it was right if their kids got killed. Filling their childrens minds with crap is neglectful so I would not put anything past them when it comes to their kids.
