  • Is there a reason this concert (COMPLETE) is still not available on home DVD?>

  • @DavelovesRealMusic It'll be released (hopefully) with the remastered Wings Over America.

  • I can only imagine how much fun it was for Paul McCartney & WINGS to tour America the summer of 1976 -our BiCentennial-I was only 5 at the time ,but I remember well how proud people were to celebrate & be Americans. What happened ?..........

i think htat's just part of macca's sense of humor. this was many yrs b4.denver's tragic death & paul would never have made such a joke on the heels of denver's demise. no way. great concert paul gave 2 nites ago at wrigley field. he's 69 yrs old and going strong. he's had his share of ups & downs but like that that sinatra song "ive been up & down & over & out....but when i find myself down flat on my face, i pick myself up and get back in the race..." something like that.

  • @emrrbv Wow, thanks for the update! That sounds awesome. 69 years young and Mac's still showing them how to do it! I'm glad it turned out well for you.

  • @ToddSweeneyOnce

hey again sweeney todd--UPDATE---well i saw paul last nite aug 1 at the steamy sticky, wrigley field in chicago & paul put on a bravura performance aided greatly by 2 video screens that u could have put 1500 pauls onto. my 8 x binoculars fr the upper deck did little to make him visible. but it was all mainly about the music----as paul would say no doubt, im sure.maybe im amazed and yesterday were perhaps the 2 best songs of the nite. he did 35-36 in all. almost a 3 hr show.

  • @emrrbv Seeing Paul anytime would be great, but I would have loved to have seen him and Wings on the "Wings Over America" tour. Btw, it's cool that you "get" my name, ha ha! I hope you enjoy the show, I'd love to see him myself.

  • @ToddSweeneyOnce dear sweeney todd: u can say that again. it was probably THE most memorable concerts i ever saw--- at the old chicago stadium. the idea of seeing a real beatle--& paul was always my fave. seen him 6 times in all & will again at wrigley field in chcgo july 31/aug 1 this year. now that WILL BE A BLOCKBUSTER. i feel like he's a personal friend. he always says at the end of a a show--hey chicago--c u next time. and means it. the guy has lived thru a lot & had a great life, too.

  • Am I the only one who obligingly took my socks off? (I'd do anything for Paulie)

  • It's been said about many songs before, but they don't make em like this anymore!

  • @DavelovesRealMusic Waiting on the DVD (BD?) myself. To me, this is their best concert ever!!! So please, stop the torture and release this concert on DVD/BD.
