  • I met Met Erle Smith back some years ago in madison wis.he was good friends with Bunny Berigan.he was a claerinetist in his band he was playing in Doc Dehavens band here in madison.

  • Spuds Murphy wrote the charts for this one, as well as for the quasi Christmas-themed "Santa Claus Came in the Spring," cut at Bunny Berigan's last date with the Goodman Orch. Murphy contributed quite a number of arrangements to the BG book at this time. ... Berigan's entrance here is great; that guy sure knew how to grab your attention ... and hold it!

  • Sounds to me like a Fletcher Henderson arrangement.
