Aggie Bonfire on Modern Marvels

Modern Marvels - Engineering Disasters ep. 12 on the History Channel. They do a fair job explaining some of the facets of Bonfire, especially the priority thats given to keeping it student run, and keeping the mechanization of it as low as possible. This is probably from 2003, as the memorial is still being built in the last scenes.

@FedEx53 Nobody is forced to do anything at A&M. The funny thing about people like you are the false misconceptions over something you don't understand. I can point you to a link full of proof of all things young Texans are forced to do when they are unfortunate to enroll at Texas starting with the brainwashing they succumb to at Camp Texas... Secondly, that "Fake Army" even today puts more officers into the united states military than any other school...outside the academies.

@1231teddybearlove My family and I just got home from college station as well(:We thought they were gonna do a memorial during the yell practice since it was the twelfth year anniversary(they didnt)...
