Sonic the Hedgehog 2- Extended Ending Music

Originally in Sonic 2, Tails was slated to die after his plane was shot down during Wing Fortress Zone. The ending was much longer, with Sonic originally falling from the Death Egg, surviving only to mourn over his friend's death at the hands of Dr. Robotnik. It was much longer than the final ending and obviously much more sad. Sega felt that this would have depressed the children who played this game as it did not fit the mood of the rest of the game at all, so the original ending was scrapped for what we have now. Because Sonic 2 was originally planned as a Sega CD game they intended to have an ending with vocals. It was completed and this extended version of the ending song is all that remains of this original ending.

and another thing. Hulkster in Heaven is the name of the song for those who dont know
