I have the first Generation Moviemate 25. A few months ago I read UR post and was dicouraged, but then I thought that's what u heard, I don't know if ur still looking, but I purchased one 3weeks ago and man it blew my away I sat L@@KING @ MY SCREEN AND SAID "WOOOOOOOOW" very slowly my family laughed @ me, all agreed the pic is incredible. Blu Ray, HD DVD, HD CABLE, are all FaaaaaNtastic! Get the MOVIEMATE 72!

How is the contrast ratio? I heard the MovieMate 72 contrast is horrible, it can't handle dark screen at all.

how wide was that? and what was the distance from the wall to projector..

It came with an 80" portable screen that was really nice. You can make it way larger if you have a white wall, though.
In this video, the projector was about 10 feet from the screen, and I was behind it because that's where the speakers are. Of course, you can always hook up your own sound system to it and set it up however you like.

It's hard to tell in the video, but 360 games looked really fantastic on it. Lost Planet had just come out at the time, and playing that on the big screen was amazing. I think it only goes up to 1080i, though, but I might be mistaken.

u shuld set it to 720 p since 1080i is equivilent to 540p
