You'd need half a million just to park at Putts wouldn't you? Remember Rob the carpark guy (in the days before the fancy building) always being there when the surf was good and charging an arm and a leg to park! Brings back memories... but sure as hell don't miss the cold water!

why would you wont to live in croyde i was born there and all the locals have left to make way for rich grockalls who think if that have lods of money they can take over a nice comunerty and and fill it with BMW,s and Rangrovers all because some townys have a sad midlife fantercey about being a surfa and just get in the way in the line up its a joke you should stay at home...

Grockle is an English West Country dialect word used to describe a visitor or tourist. It is a derogatory term by which local residents of those towns refer to the perceived hordes of tourists, particularly during the summer months. In the south-west, particularly Cornwall and the Isle of Wight, the word "emmet" (Cornish for "ant") is usually heard instead. Also used in the Bailiwick of Guernsey
