I love the most last few seconds when the girls bring their crutches. I wish they used the crutches in their dance as well. When I carefully watch the movement of their empty folded pant legs I feel they both have hip disarticulation. In China majority of leg amputees use crutches and don't seem to be worried about being seen without leg.

@towringer using a prosthetic leg isn't hiding, it's using amazing advances in technology

I don't agree at all! Maybe you just haven't seen them. And China is actually not very accommodating to people with physical disabilities.

Wow!!!! They're amazing!!!!!

In America, amputees tend to hide. More so than people in wheelchairs. They usually don't go out in public without their prosthetics, and the visual media usually shoots them from the opposite side of their amputation. I guess the Chinese have a different perception of amputees in society.

Much better than the Swan lake!

These two women illustrate perfectly that the human leg performs entirely opposite of what the prosthetics industry thinks, THEY PROVE THE HUMAN LEG is a LOADED SPRING, and works exactly like a LOADED SPRING, so PUTTING A DOOR HINGE IN THE WAY is Ludicrous.
By the way, these girls are in PHENOMENAL CONDITION TO DO THAT
I have seen the other video from China with the two amputees (he without leg, she without arm).It seems that at least in China, there are more opportunities for people with special differences to dance and perform than here in the US. Obviously it is ridiculous to call these dancers"disabled". I hope they continue performing..great dancing!

In the Chinese culture a woman with a disability is a shame (take a look to the movie "Rising Sun" for the similar in Japanese culture). It is possible that such activities are initiated by Chinese government as a way to change the traditional perception of disabled women.
BTW, many of those Chinese female dancers are really beautiful. I wonder, how many stunting amputee ladies exist in this country with a huge population?
