Gualtiero Jacopetti is dead. Good riddance! " Africa Addio" is one of the most shameful, hollow and violent "documentaries" ever made. To say nothing of the racist "Goodbye Uncle Tom." Despicable. This violence happy pervert lived far too long. This fillmaker contributed a lot of hatred and pain to the globe. He set the bar for film so LOW at a time when nothing even remotely cruel and gross had been done on a mass basis. Modern 20th century society had never viewed popular culture as people killing each other and animals being tortured for entertainment before the Mondo genre. The kids beating each other on you Tube and blowing up Hamsters on their cell phone videos today are this filmmakers progeny.
