Fave VGM #601: NieR ~ "City of Commerce"

NieR for the XBox 360 is very interesting action adventure game which has the player guard against bullet hell attacks from shades, have a reluctant alliance with a scantily clad foul mouthed anti-hero, and fight for the life of his terminally ill daughter. When I first arrived at the Seafront village, the City of Commerce, I fell in love with it. It's a beautiful city with a calm soothing theme that I can't get enough of. I would love to live in a seaside village like Seafront.

My favourite track of the game! It's so relaxing, and the scenery is so beautiful too. 1:00 has that kind of... Tim Burton - Edward Scissorhands sound to it. What a great game. I'm replaying it now and I hope to get more of my questions answered! I love the characters as well, Emil is such a good kid! I like how in the western version of Nier, the main character is an old father looking for his daughter, to me it's just more appropriate and fitting. This should've been game of the year! :)
