@18mcilroy I agree with you. It has more to do with the American culture because of its history, which makes it a very sensitive subject. There is a lot of tension and a lot of focus on ethnicity, more than I've seen in any other western country with a mixed population. In my country the terms black and white are also used, and that's what most prefer. So if you're English and living in England, and if you're not told otherwise, don't worry about it. They're cool, you're cool.

oooh I love this man. Glad to know he cancelled the twitter account. I always thought that following everything somebody does was a bit much.
