Yah, i'm actually planning on doing a follow up. I'll post it as a response to this video when its finished. There's a good writup on this box too though on DJ Tech Tools. Search "A New Arcade Button Controlller Is Born" and you'll find it.

@YOKappaKappa I got them from Lizard Lick online. I think they're the Sanwa 24mm arcade buttons. Really good for fast button mashing.

one last question. So when I split the cable for my linear pots i need to use two wires that are the 5 volt and one that is ground, then for arcade buttons i use another port and cable and I only need to attach one ground and one 5 volt?

@3asyPimpin123, no you don't need two 5 volt wires for pots, you still just use one ground and one 5 volt. you just have to put them on two of the three little prongs on the pot and that will decide whether the pot goes from high to low when you turn it, or low to high. so you could pick the two wrong prongs on the pot and it would be backwards. just trial and error.
