The Blood Brothers - Interview (english)

Zwei Schreie, zwei Tonlagen - eine Harmonie. Untendrunter spinnt die Musik wahnwitzige, wirre Netze, in denen der Zuhörer kleben bleibt in einem kleinen Chaos voller Tempoattacken und epileptisch anmutenden Rhythmen. Und das alles wird detailgenau aufgebaut um es anschließend explodieren zu lassen... wie ein kopfloses, rennendes Pferd auf dem Weg zur Hauptverkehrsstraße.

"Young Machetes" heißt das neuste Werk der fünfköpfigen Band aus Seattle. Einmal mehr sticht eben jener Gesang heraus, der diese Band einzigartig macht. Wir haben mit den beiden "Vokalisten" Johnny und Jordan in Berlin gesprochen.

@ifyoufly: I don't know what machete is a metaphor for but the word machete does appear constantly throughout different songs on the album young machetes.

Bur Piano Island Burn was the best album. I wish they were still together. Blood Brothers were better than Neon Blonde and Jaguar Love.
