Turn this one up. What she's talking about at the beginning is seeing if I can sing straight tone (not completely) and nothing louder than mezzo-forte. Which, if you know this song, is appropriate. I really connected with this beautiful madrigal, considered "early music", something I thought I would never sing.

So, this should sound very different from other singing...consider it for what the music intends. I can't believe how gently I can sing E4s now (near the end). I hope you like this!

  • I really liked this! You sounded great!

  • @mradaChris Thanks. At home, I seem to be able to sing with an even straighter tone, but I was worried in the lesson that doing so for the first time would make some of the tension come back that I've been working so hard to get rid of!
