  • Hearts in the right place, but... If that was a real patient and they need someone to make the bed for them that means they have difficulty with mobility. There's no bed rails, that patient can die by falling on their body/head when rolled in that position. The dirty sheets taken off the bed have contaminated that chair. The rest of the bed is contaminated now by the caregiver/bed changer handling the sheets that touched the floor. Hands should be washed BEFORE even handling the clean sheets.

  • And now your pt will get a bed sore with the huge wrinkle that you left in the middle of the bed. Also, you contaminated the sheet by letting it touch the floor. My prof would have certainly failed you for less than that. But damn! I get you! Bed making is awful!

  • @86dougedoug the skills pretty much go out the door anyway when you actually go to work in a nursing home cause you don't have time to think about how it's suppose to be done. you just do it and get it done with.

  • He would have failed I see so much wrong in this video I am going to another video smh

  • I hate doing occupied bed. thats one skill I struggled with..

  • Good job..

  • thank you for posting this video. in the very beginning of nursing classes and this will definitely help!

  • RNs don't hire anybody haha, very funny. Dear RN, the human resources department does the hiring.

  • this is good!very informative!

  • The only misstep in this video in my opinion is @ 3:08 he allowed the dirty linen to touch his clothing. But as a CNA student, this video is very clear, accurate, and helpful. Thank you for this!
