Joshua Simon - If

Hey guys, as I'm still writing for my debut acoustic album, I've decided to release a little demo recording of my song, "If..."
I wrote this when I was 17, so that's 2 years ago and apart from it being the first song I've ever written, it literally... got me singing again. I started writing songs and I've got so much now that I want you guys to hear! This is the first original I'm uploading on YouTube, I figured I'd start with the first =)

An upcoming film by Chandler Pohl is releasing a teen flick called, The Chalet, which features IF as well as another pop rock song I wrote for the soundtrack. "If" is a simple song about wanting someone that you can't have. Thank you for following my music, I'll update you guys with my recent songwriting escapades yea =)

Please don't be justin bieber no.2. You sound gay. You're man. Stop singing in such a high note. it would be better if you don't sing it so high. Other than that, its pretty good lyrics and melody.

The tune & lyrics are of "standard", and the vocals are impressive too!

Just one thing, I think you're relying too much on your falsetto voice register...try to hit some of those high notes with your chest voice. And do voice layering...it'll do wonders to your demo :)
