The 1960s US rock instrumental group.

1) Harlem Nocturne - the hit single version, shorter than the album. #52 in 1960 and again #39 in 1965.
2) September Song
3) Sweet Georgia Brown - 1967 Coral single
4) Night Train - the 1960 version on the Madison label, shorter than the 1966 Amy recording. This one charted #82 in 1960.

  • new jersey had the best talent, lesley gore, the duprees, the viscounts, franki valli,jimmy charles, tons more i miss my old jersey days,and wabc radio from nyc that was the best.

  • Damn! Great sax! I can't find much about Harry Haller on the net. Where is he? What was his axe? The dude was the king of rasp IMO.

  • In a previous Viscounts post on a deleted channel, one of them wrote with comments (keyboardist). I guess they're still around New Jersey.

  • Great to hear the Viscounts on You Tube, I have them on 45's and remember hearing them play in 1961 at a night club in Keansburg, NJ. Excellent where are the members today.

  • I can't believe I found the Viscounts.I was from Jersey and used to see them at the Varsity Lounge in Linden around 1960-61.I believe one was from Matawan N.J. they were soooo good.Miss you guys.
