anyone else notice how suspicious it is that government is so keen on pushing children into their schools/indoctrination centers as soon as possible.
soon it will be that they are raised from the moment they are born.
-
yet another sinkhole for taxpayers to throw their money into

we need gov't nurseries from birth until it's time for gov't preschool where students can leave and go to gov't daycare everyday because their parents too busy getting gov't handouts. soon it will be time for gov't elementary school then jr. high then h.s. then college, then graduate school and finally a gov't job, where they can have kids who can do it all over again.

Man that loves your child more than you is called pedophile.

@justluckdude They've taken over education, healthcare, banking, energy, transportation, emergency relief...people need to realize that government is too big. They really do, before it's too late.

Yay! More taxes!

Brave New World anyone?

Pre-schools can be good for some kids, but there's no problem if you don't want your kids in it.

~2:57 - This statement is not only the case for education but for every aspect of life over which government has a monopoly; gov't can do a horrible job but the taxpayer has to subsidize them to keep them in business.

We should not fund this crap. Children need to be taught by parents.

pre-k ladies are bitches. I would give my wife a real beating if she even thought about dumping my child to a pre-k or kindergarden.

Parents are expected to pick many things for their children. Why can't they also chose the school and curriculum? Stossel makes a great case for privatizing education. If I want my kids taught evolution - you know, proper science - I should be able to pick a school and curriculum which includes that.
man I feel so damn stupid for thinking that it was a good idea.

@bustapunk101 Don't feel bad! Just the fact that you're now seeing things differently (as are many) is a promising sign.
