Gaza families mourn dead after UN school bombed - 07 Jan 09

In the 12 days of Israel's war on Gaza, the shelling of a United Nations school on Tuesday has been the most shocking incident. More than 40 people were killed. Israel claims the school was a legitimate target because rockets were fired from it.

But the UN has vehemently denied those claims.

Al Jazeera is the only international news channel with correspondents on both sides of the border. Ayman Mohyeldin visited what's left of the school, and the families now in mourning.

Israel has been killing Gaza people for a long time, and Gaza has been killing Israeli people for a long time. Gaza is the one that elected terrorists who hide among civilians, and they also broke the cease fire. maybe they shouldn't bitch now that they are getting whipped by israel (which is only winning because the US is helping them)

The Israeli Camp David offer in 2001 didn't give the Palestinians the right to self determination, vague rights on freedom of movement, and no control over their own airspace. The Taba agreements, which have been accepted by the Arab League, the Palestinians, and the entire international community, have been proposed since the 1970's and have been voted down by the United States and Israel every time.
