A new government study finds that there are many more homeless people than beds in shelters, and even that number may be an underestimate. Cynthia Bowers reports. (CBSNews.com)
I was one of the homeless, thank you very much. I had nothing except the clothes I was wearing.
Through perserverance I was able to get work. tearing down old buildings, shoveling shit and doing many things others would not do.
Most bums are bums because they want to be bums. Work is not something that agrees with them.
I have seen tragedy, and have had my share of trouble. I have offered a helping hand to many who say they want to work and have found out that they really do not.
Where are you living????????? It is a problem, it is real! It is in not only the big cities, but also in the small towns. Many of these people are not spongers, but people who simply lost their paycheck, sometimes through an illness, sometimes through a closing, always tragic
this is not the problem it is portrayed. Useless, homeless people now have the opportunity to do something worth while with their lives, instead of sponging off the country that gave them everything. And in turn rid us of useless politicians and reporters, whom are also encouraged to join the ranks of non producers. Consider the exciting new field of becoming fossil fuel, or the excting world of fertilizer.
