i kinda like holographic because the dot on the red dot can block the view of the person you're aiming at at long range but with the holographic its smaller and you can see through it and see if the person moved or something plus it makes the fal 2 hits at any range with stopping power and reduces m16 recoil

holographic is much better than red dot as it is correctly aligned with all guns unlike the red dot which is misalgined for the FAL, and hard to use with the TAR 21 and F2000, plus the Holo sight actually increases the damage of the FAL and reduces the recoil of the m16a4, red dot never gives any special bonuses to any weapon

It depends on the gun for me, I usually just use FMJ, but on my famas I use the red dot because it's less bulky on the screen and less awkward on the gun, more proportional.
The dot is cool on the holo but the red dot feels more precise at long range with a low-recoil gun
