hospitals have regulations about power cords and wires off the ground 6 inches. well, everything must be off the ground 6 inches.

Oh! I know how it feels to be flooded, this happens to my studio when i forgot to close the window overnight and it rains, when i wake up in the morning water all over the place lucky my equipment was fine. But a lot of time and resouces wasted cleaning the mess.

Water is so destructive indoors. I had a studio flood in 2004 and it set me back for a long time. The bright side is that I was able to use insurance funds to remodel the place better than before however it looks like your place was already set-up beautifully.
