Well, yeah.  the lies that people want to hear change as time passes. In order to maintain our "confidence", our masters have to tailor those lies very specifically to what we really WANT to hear. In this way, the Davos "Forum" was a success. We can expect to hear a lot more convincing forms of deceit this year.

This Davos entity is really only asking one question: "What lies would you like to hear?"
