Playing the Game 5 Saturn Radiant Silvergun

Welcome back to my latest installments of MaximumRD's Playing the game. Continuing the series that started with Choi Aniki with 8 more Sega Saturn titles. I must apologize for the audio, I record the gameplay then use Cyberlink Producer to add narration but it seems no matter how high I set the microphone you can barely hear me sometimes especially when there is a lot of load gameplay, perhaps this is an effect of my cheap microphone. I can only advise you crank it up but hopefully you at least enjoy the visuals. AS ALWAYS don't expect expert or even decent gameplay, most of these I have never played beyond making sure they
load up. Hope you enjoy either way and as always comment, rate and subscribe!

Ah Radiant Silvergun - nice pixellated 'transparencies' etc. It's amazing to see how the Saturn games really hold up to some of the PSX titles. Both the PSX and the Saturn were 2d sprite powerhouses. The PSX was a polygon powerhouse whilst the Saturn had polygons 'glued in' at the end of the process - making the latter very hard to develop for.

Excellent video. Enjoyed it tremendously. Looking forward to the next ones.

Great Vid, Microsoft asked Treasure to bring radiant Silvergun to xbla,but treasure said the game hasn't aged well,I think this game still holds up imo,Treasure was making a new shmup for 360 but i think it got canceled.
