InspectionAir Gauge "World Class Technology"

InspectionAir Gauge was founded in 1963 in Windsor as a manufacturer of gauges, fixtures and tooling for the automotive industry. Today they design and manufacture gauging systems ranging from manual attribute gauges and fixtures to complete automated robotic cells utilizing vision and white light technology. The company primarily provides gauging solutions for two distinct product groups. Sheetmetal and Plastic components and Precision Machined components.

Their current footprint of 26,000 square feet is completely air conditioned. They are part of the Canadian Engineering and Tool Company group of companies.

InspectionAir designs and builds fixtures with both attribute and variable data capabilities for sheetmetal and plastic components and assemblies ranging in size from simple bracket to full automotive body-sides.

On the precision components side an array of product is provided depending on the customer's requirements and the tolerances of the product they make. InspectionAir will review product specifications and recommend the appropriate gauging solutions to meet the final product quality requirements. Gauging solutions for precision machined components include crankshafts, engine blocks and transmission cases and components.

InspectionAir Gauge manufactures leading edge electronic relation gauges utilizing variable data instrumentation interfaced to PC based data collection systems allowing the operator to collect precise dimensional information quickly in a production setting. Computers are programmed with simple to read operator information. The graphic man machine interface allows the operator to make corrections quickly in the production environment.

The company utilizes full solid engineering and design software. All Products are designed in full solids with full product definition. This allows InspectionAir to streamline the manufacturing process with limited drawings and automate the manufacturing process focusing on a full CNC machining strategy for all detail and assembly machining.
