Day 3

Granted I slept all night, I woke up in all sorts of pain because of it. Missing all of my night time doses led my pain to sky rocket - but the team here worked great with me and helped me all morning. As the day went on I am feeling better. I even got to take a shower...yay.
If I had to complain about anything it would just be the severe numbness in my left thigh and that I still have the same referred pain down my legs. Although, I also am very aware that I am only on day 3 and all of the healing will take time.

day 3, they let you sleep thru pain med dosages??? they know its harder to get pain down once pain med levels drop to low> you look allot better. I see you still have leg pains????? what about now??

O my--terrible pain.... Grrr!!! Don't u feel as if day 3 is always the worst??? Then 10 hrs no pain meds!!!! Sheeesh!!!

I was in the hospital 10 days and it was all of 6 weeks before I could set in a chair. I couldn't even set up enough to eat. There was food all over me and in my bed. My surgery was 4 1/2 years ago.
