  • and the Hindustani equivalent of this raagam is raag Sohoni

  • somehow my prev message got messed up and I jumped the gun on the Hindi equivalent while the FANTASTIC presenter explained this so very well. Nanri!

  • The talent, the simplicity and purity of the presenter/singer is so great that it can carry the occasion with zero background music or instruments! AWESOME!

For those who may be interested, the Hindi version of this is :Kuhu-Kuhu bole koyaliya

  • This is the only time I won't complain about the movie clip since I enjoy watching Anjali devi.

I am proud to be Telugu. Telugu language has given 1 lakh wonderful priceless krithis approximately to the world of carnatic music and will continue.

  • @aramita1: Thank you for the correction :-)

  • I like all her presentations on Youtube. However, Charulatha Mani has made a BAD claim here. Thesulavudhe is NOT a song that came from Hindhi, as she says. The composer is Adi Narayana Rao, and he composed this first in Telugu & Tamil (simultaneous release). AFTER that it got rendered in Hindhi. SPB in a youtube posting recounts Lata telling him that Rafi originally hesitated to sing this song, not being sure of matching Ghantasala. So it is the other way.Kuhu Kuhu came from South to Hindhi.

  • Good video..Useful....Thanks!!!!!
