I can't believe what the blond kid said: "we compete for a golden medal, and it's great to know the techniques so that we can hurt people when they piss us off" WTF??? Me thinks they should have a talk about the philosophical principles of Judo.

Nothing is changed.
4-kyu or below: white belt
3-kyu to 1 kyu: brown belt
sho dan to 5 dan: black belt
6-8 dan: red-white belt
9-10 dan: red belt
But it is OK to wear black belt for 6 dan or above.
