I'm one of the few people who know what salp is! YAY! We had "The day of the salp" at the beah where tons of salp washed up and made the beach all slippery LOL! It was in the water too.And unfourtuneatly also in my hair (excuse spelling).

What a fun life for them.
I can't wait til the dolphins of the world start linking themselves together like that to create a giant sea dwelling death colony.

You know what's ironic - they're chordates, which means that they belong to a phylum which is distinguished by being vertebrates, yet attached together they look like a floating spine.
