Unexpected Love*3 [NELENA]

Nick kept looking at me, I bit
my lip and looked down at my
food

"Do you always do that
when your nervous"? he asked

"Do what?" I replied

"bite your lip" he said as he smiled

"um maybe"I laughed

he took a sip of his soda and turned
his eyes to me again "you know I didn't
even know Demi had a sister till like a
week ago when she told me" he said

"well we are step siblings and we
hadn't seen or talk to each other
till just recently" I responded

"no wonder you two look nothing
alike" he said

I gave him a look "is that a bad
thing?"

"I didn't say that"He smirked

I realize we were both flirting with each
other and I stopped talking and just
continued eating faster than usual I could
see Nick staring at me from the corners of
my eyes but I continued avoiding a
conversation "ready to go?" I said

"yea lets go" he stood up and waited for me
to scoot out of the booth, He held the door for
me as we walked out the car ride home was a
little bit awkward for me but once again for him
it wasn't we arrived at my dorm and he walked
me to the door "thanks and you didn't have to
walk me all the way here" I said

"I wanted too"He replied giving me that
oh so adorable smile of his that I could
stare at forever and ever I made myself
turn away as if telling myself to snap of
it "um tell Demi I'll come over tomorrow"

"Alright I will" He leaned in and gave me
hug I inhaled his scent a combination of
leather from his jacket and his cologne he
pulled away "goodnight Selena" and he
walked away leaving me there feeling like
a little school girl that just got touched by
her first crush ever

*next day*

after class I when over to Demi's she was
busy looking up wedding stuff on the
computer "come look at this, do you think
Nick would like this place?" she asked I
walked over to her "are you planning to
get married right away?" I said She looked
at me "well yea!" she replied "I've waited
5 months for him to propose and now that
he finally did I'm not ganna let it slip away!"
She continued

I looked at her with a confuse look on my
face "why you don't think he wants to get
married?" I asked "He does but he thinks
we are still too young but hey we love each
other so it's no big deal" she responded while
focusing on the computer screen again

So it's clear Demi pressured Nick into asking
her to marry him, I wonder if he even really
does want to get married, just right then he
walked in through the door he looked at me
and smiled "Hey Selena", "Hi Nick" I said Demi
turned too look at him "Baby come and look at
this, isn't it perfect?" Nick walked over not looking
interested at all as he saw that it was wedding
decorations and that's when it was clear to me
that he doesn't want to get married
